Tourist in Coastal Lampung Rising

Toward the surf contest held July 9 to 11, the number of foreign tourists on the beach of Tanjung Setia, West Lampung Coastal District, increases. They perform the majority of surfing and photography.
"Several days later, the average number of tourist arrivals in one day to reach 40 more people, and until Thursday the number of foreign tourists reached 380 people," said Head of Tourism Department of Transportation, Tourism, Youth and Sports, West Lampung District Arif Nugroho, in Liwa, Thursday (8 / 7).
Arif said the peak of tourist arrivals will occur upon commencement of the surf contest that will open the Governor of Lampung.
Surfing activity will be participated in a number of people from six countries, namely the Netherlands, Britain, Germany, Portugal, Australia, and Japan.
Faithful to the center of Cape Coast surfing activities of foreign tourists because there famous waves suitable for that activity.
Surge of foreign tourists in West Lampung, making most of the traders in the tourist attraction that has increased sales. Average in a single day traders can get a turnover of up to 50 percent.
Meanwhile, West Lampung Regent Mukhlis Basri, said the potential for coastal tourism be selling power to the West Lampung.
